Browsing investor profiles

Each investor profile includes detailed information to help you assess fit:

Profile information:

  • Fund details: Name, location, fund size, years active
  • Investment focus: Stages, sectors, geographic focus
  • Check size: Typical investment range
  • Portfolio companies: Notable investments they have made
  • Investment thesis: What they look for in companies
  • Contact information: Website, social profiles, contact approach

Contacting investors

Each investor card shows available contact methods:

Email: Click to open your email client with their address pre-filled
LinkedIn: View their profile to connect or send an InMail
Website: Visit their site for contact forms or more information

Tip: Always research the investor before reaching out. Personalize your message based on their portfolio and investment thesis.

Outreach tracking

Track your investor interactions directly from the database:

Contact status: Mark investors as contacted, in conversation, passed, etc.
Notes: Add notes about conversations, intro sources, and follow-ups.
Last contact: Track when you last reached out to avoid over-contacting.
Pipeline integration: Syncs with the Investor Outreach pipeline.

Help improve the database

Our database is continuously improved with community input. You can help make it better:

Report inaccurate data

Found incorrect information? Click the "Report" button on any investor card to flag issues with website, email, investment focus, or other details.

Suggest new investors

Know an investor missing from the database? Click "Suggest investor" to submit them for review. Include website and contact details if available.

How it works: All submissions are reviewed by our team before being added or updated. You'll see "pending", "approved", or "rejected" status on your submissions.

Best practices

  • Quality over quantity: Better to reach 20 well-matched investors than 100 random ones
  • Check recent deals: Investors who just invested in your space may be saturated
  • Look for portfolio synergies: Could their portfolio companies be customers or partners?
  • Update tracking regularly: Keep status current so you know where you stand
  • Research before outreach: Use profile information to personalize your approach
