Pitch deck feedback software for accelerators: What to compare

By Pitchkit · Last updated November 1, 2026

Four kinds of tool, four different jobs

Program management platforms

Examples: AcceleratorApp, Gust, F6S

Built for: Running the program itself: applications, selection, program operations and startup communities.

Fits when: You need one system for the whole program lifecycle. Check each vendor for what it offers on deck feedback.

Investor CRMs

Examples: Dealum, Foundersuite

Built for: Tracking investors, deal flow and fundraising conversations, from the investor side or the founder side.

Fits when: Your question is who to talk to and where each conversation stands, not how good the deck is.

AI deck scorers and builders

Examples: PitchLeague, Slidebean

Built for: Scoring, generating or designing a pitch deck for one founder or team.

Fits when: Individual founders want a quick score or a designed deck. Check each vendor for cohort-level reporting.

Pitchkit

Examples: Pitchkit

Built for: A VC's Red Pen on each deck: every section scored from 0 to 100 against a published rubric, plus a cohort view for the program manager.

Fits when: The bottleneck is feedback on cohort decks and knowing who is ready for demo day.

What Pitchkit offers a program today

  • One cohort invite link; each team keeps its own Pitchkit account.
  • Per-section Red Pen scores from 0 to 100, with the weak signals and a fix-first list.
  • A ready bar you set per cohort (70 by default). The dashboard marks startups at or above it.
  • Latest score per startup and section, and change since the startup joined.
  • A read-only view of each startup's pitch for program staff.
  • Mentor comments on sections: staff comment on a startup's latest pitch, with a Draft with Red Pen button that fills the box from the section's Red Pen notes. Founders see the comments in their Canvas, labeled with your program.
  • Optional minimum scores per section on top of the ready bar. A startup is ready only when it meets both.
  • An opt-in demo-day link for investors. It lists only the startups that chose to be included, with company name, stage, summary and public deck link.
  • A weekly digest for program staff in the owner and admin roles.
  • Startups in an active program cohort get paid-plan access while the cohort runs.

The criteria behind every score are public: the Red Pen rubric. How a cohort runs: Pitchkit for programs.

When Pitchkit is the wrong choice

  • You need to run applications, selection or program operations. Pitchkit does not do that.
  • You need full program management: applications, events or a CRM. Pitchkit has none of these.
  • You need custom rubric weights or criteria per program. You can set the ready bar and a minimum per section, not the rubric itself.
  • You want a human review of every deck. The score is an AI estimate and does not replace a partner's judgment.
  • You need an investor CRM for a fundraising pipeline. That is a different job.
